Partnerships
To establish partnerships with many different business sectors has been a common practice of the Informatics Engineering Department (DEI) of the School of Technology and Management (ESTG) of Leiria.
With this we intend to narrow the gap between the school and its students and the business environment, enhancing the technology that exists in each of the areas covered and to enable obtaining certifications recognized in the informatics environment, facilitating the integration of students into the labour market.
The DEI currently has active partnerships with the following entities:
-
The Cisco Academy is an educational program that provides the students with skills in the areas of planning, implementation, management and security of computer networks in order to facilitate access to the labour market.
The Polytechnic Institute of Leiria (IPL) was the first Cisco Regional Academy installed in Portugal and currently provides the following courses: Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Discovery, CCNA Exploration, CCNA Wireless, CCNA Voice, CCNA Security e Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP).
Cisco Academy Instructors at the IPL are certified and qualified to provide students with consistent and qualified teaching.
